What is safety netting?
Safety netting or debris netting is a durable, heavy duty plastic netting used on scaffolding to help protect the public and fellow on-site workers from falling debris.
Additionally, this option allows air circulation and considerably reduces rain and wind from entering the site, in turn improving the working environment and making it easier for workers to perform tasks.
This also adds an additional layer of protection against falls. When scaffolding is erected, there are guardrails and toe rails to protect workers from falling. However, using scaffold netting ensures full coverage, rather than just where rails are located.
